Another Role with a Gun - That Was Easy

Back in January, I won a free showreel scene with Devil’s Avocado on Instagram. It took a while for us to get our diaries to coordinate, but I am so glad that I filmed this really fun scene in May with Joey Lockhart, Roddy Pacheco and the marvellous Mark Denham.

We had a few meetings about what kind of role I was looking to do (although I’m seen as a professional character and quite serious, I wanted to do something with a bit of comedy in it). Joey and Roddy came up with a great script.

Next, Mark and I worked with Joey on the characters and pacing of the scene while leaving things quite open to play with on the day.

We shot in a house on the outskirts of London and had a great time. It was a very relaxed set, we played about with the scene until we were happy with it and then filmed it in under an hour.

It was a great team and Mark was marvellous to work with - very giving and so funny!
